Concordance Exercise sources

Bible sources:

Working from the Concordance, here is a list of sources for us to look at.  It includes a selection of Torah verses relevant to the word “ger,” the Torah verses using the phrase “lo yavo b’kahal,” and Megillat Rut.

For the sources using the word ger, consider what that word means in the context of the verse, and what behavior and attitudes the verse suggests we should have.  For the sources using “lo yavo b’kahal,” consider what that phrase means.  For Megillat Rut, consider whether Rut was Jewish, and, if so, how she became Jewish.

In preparing your material, read the surrounding verses to put each text in context.  I have tried to include whole passages, but may not have caught everything.
